São Paulo-based VFX house Tribbo, a mainstay in Brazilian postproduction for more than two decades, has opened for business in the American market, joining the roster at Brooklyn-based talent rep agency Rebel Talent for U.S. representation. Tribbo’s Miami office is new, but the studio has been working in the U.S. for years including a Super Bowl spot for Hulu in 2020. Over the years, Tribbo has garnered Cannes Lions, a World Medal at The New York Festivals, and a 2020 Best of the Year Award by TV Globo. OptiTrack, known for its 3D tracking systems, has brought Patrick Gillis on board as business development manager–channel partners. Based in Denver, Gillis is tasked with building new relationships within North America for OptiTrack channel partners and developing infrastructure for successful channels. Gillis is a technology sales and business development veteran with nine years of experience building and managing reseller channels around the world. Gillis is also no stranger to the 3D motion tracking industry having spent his previous five years in New Zealand leading teams and managing channel partners for StretchSense, a motion capture glove company that complements and integrates with OptiTrack tracking technology….
