THE SPOT
In "Summer Shorts," men in space suits perform scientific tests as they watch people of all ages—sporting Old Navy’s summer shorts—take part in summertime activities such as sunbathing, volleyball and ice cream eating. The :30 then cuts to a shot of a large sunscreen bottle. As the camera pulls back, George Hamilton is shown seated, surrounded on either side by beautiful young women. "Is it hot up here, or is it just me?" he asks.
Spot broke in May.
