Phil Price, president/creative director of Click 3X New York, is leaving the digital effects studio effective Feb. 29 to form an as-yet-unnamed broadband content venture.
Tom Block, COO of New York-headquartered IllusionFusion!, parent company to the Click 3X family of facilities (in New York, Atlanta, Santa Monica and Construct Click 3X San Francisco), credited Price with playing "a pivotal creative role in the growth and success of the Click 3X brand. We are very supportive of his new direction, and plan to partner with him on projects in the future."
Price, who will unveil details about his new undertaking within the next month, observed: "Advertising is fundamentally changing. The traditional TV advertising model will change more in the next five years than in the last fifty. Creating ad sponsored, interactive programming is the space I’m focusing on."
Meanwhile, Click 3X New York executive producer Julie Shevach has assumed the additional role of general manager. "This is an exciting time for the company, and there is enormous opportunity for growth," related Shevach. "I’ve been lucky to work for Click for nearly three years, both on the West Coast and in New York. It’s given me a clearer perspective of the changing media environment, and a better understanding of client’s needs and how to anticipate them."
Prior to Click 3X, Shevach was executive producer at Spontaneous Combustion, New York. Earlier, she worked in the same capacity with now defunct Editel, New York.
As part of its planned restructuring and expansion into new markets, Click 3X is looking to add to its current roster. VP, director of sales, New York/co-executive producer John Lovelace will lead a recruiting effort for Inferno artists, senior level creatives and designers.
