Remedy Studios, the New York-based creative solutions studio, worked with the pay-per-view service iNDEMAND to enhance its brand identity, producing a package of four :05 network-branding IDs, each comprising a graphic build of the iNDEMAND logo and live-action end tags. The Remedy team, led by design director Christine Lin, included executive producer Simone Barker, production designer/art director Ben Barraud and DP Jason Harvey.
Toronto-headquartered TOPIX/Mad Dog completed "Pandilla," a :20 for Novartis Nutrition’s C-1000-C, a supplement that combines vitamin C and calcium. Aimed at the needs of children, the ad features 3-D animation and was developed through Grey Mexico, Mexico City. TOPIX/Mad Dog developed a stylistic interpretation of 2-D animation, completed in 3-D. The hand-drawn color-washed characters introduce the vitamin in a humorous and informative way by showing kids in various stages of play, demonstrating the benefits of the product. Tyrone McFadden was TOPIX’s director of animation; Patrick Kil, Chris Lam and Emmanuel Rego were 3-D animators; Aaron Weintraub was Inferno artist; and Diana D’Amelio was producer. TOPIX utilized Softimage, After Effects and was rendered on Inferno. Color correction was completed on Softimage and Inferno.
Pacific Data Post (PDP), Santa Monica, completed a spot for Nissan El Grand II and Hakuhodo Advertising, Los Angeles. Titled "Route 66," the commercial was given a printed-postcard feel by PDP colorist Arnold Ramm, who transferred the 35mm color negative on a Philips Spirit datacine, creating a reversal film quality from the negative.

Peter Rincon of POP Sound, Santa Monica, Calif., mixed Budweiser’s "Tortoise" for Fusion Idea Lab, Chicago and Los Angeles. Directed by Dave Merhar of bicoastal HSI Productions, the :30 features a pair of clever giant turtles lifting bottles of Bud from a pair of unsuspecting explorers.
