Tim Stipan has joined Picture Shop as sr. colorist. Stipan, who most recently worked on Darren Aronofsky’s immersive MSG Sphere production “Postcard From Earth,” brings over 20 years of finishing experience on award-winning productions to Picture Shop.
“Tim’s exceptional talent and expertise are a tremendous asset to our team and to the filmmakers who are collaborating with Picture Shop,” said Cara Sheppard, president of Picture Shop. “Our artist-driven environment is truly unique and permeates everything we do here. We’re delighted to have Tim join us.”
Stipan has twice been nominated for a Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) Award recognizing Outstanding Color Grading, for “Jojo Rabbit” (2020) and “The Greatest Showman” (2018). Stipan’s nearly 200 credits include feature films “The Whale,” “Creed,” “Into the Woods,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” “Black Swan,” “The Reader,” “The Wrestler,” and “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.” He has contributed to award-winning series such as “Minx,” “Ozark,” “Dexter: New Blood,” “Maid,” and “The Flight Attendant.” Stipan’s work can next be seen in Maggie Betts’ feature film “The Burial” on Prime.
Prior to joining Picture Shop, Stipan worked at Company 3. His background also includes experience at EFILM and Technicolor.
