Sonic branding agency DLMDD has expanded its core team with the addition of Pasha Orleans-Foli, a musician whose experience extends from sonic branding to music publishing.
Orleans-Foli joins DLMDD from boutique music publisher One Two Many where she worked with a roster of Ivor Novello and Grammy-winning writer-producers, pitching works from the likes of SZA, Arlo Parks, The Heavy, HONNE and Sub Focus to be placed across TV, film, advertising and video games.
Prior to One Two Many, Orleans-Foli worked at Open Ear Music as a brand music consultant, where she crafted music strategies for luxury brands such as Selfridges, Flannels and MATCHESFashion, and collaborated with fashion houses like Alexander McQueen and Jacquemus. This work ignited her passion for bringing brand identities to life through innovative soundscapes.
Orleans-Foli began her music career early, training as a musician at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in her young teens, where she excelled in clarinet, guitar and saxophone. She went on to join the National Youth Wind Orchestra and Chineke Orchestra, before becoming one of seven inaugural members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s junior artist program.
Orleans-Foli has gone on to work closely with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to diversify its repertoire, and now sits on the orchestra’s board as a Next Generation Board member.
Highlights from her musical career include working under the baton of celebrated conductor Marin Alsop, as well as performing at the Royal Albert Hall for the 2015 BBC Proms with the Aurora Orchestra, which delivers all its performances from memory.
Orleans-Foli’s repertoire and musical knowledge spans across all genres, from jazz fusion to jungle, drum & bass and grime.
This eclectic interest is reflected in her extra-curricular participation with a touring Jungle and Drum & Bass Orchestra, as well as her debut Glastonbury performance on the Shangri-La stage in 2022, with the Brixton Chamber Orchestra’s Grime Orchestrated project.
Now, Orleans-Foli embarks on a new chapter with DLMDD, where she will draw on her expertise and experience to shape high-impact campaigns for brands, as well as cultivating meaningful and memorable partnerships.
Greg Moore, co-founder of DLMDD, said, “Pasha is an extraordinary musical talent who straddles our colliding worlds of brands and music with creativity, artistic sensibility and strategic vision. We’re delighted to welcome her at DLMDD where she will elevate our clients to new heights, one resonant note at a time.”
Orleans-Foli said, “Defining brands through sound and consistently seeing the evident power of music on society always has and continues to be a fascinating concept to me. Whether it’s licensing the perfect track or creating a 3-note signature sonic logo, this is the agency where there are no limits and that’s the kind of space that gets me excited and inspired. They are music-minded, ad-driven–it’s the perfect fit.”
