THE SPOT
The design and visual effects-driven "Printer" features a look at how a printer actually creates photographic images. The :30 shows fragments of various individuals entering and conducting business inside a small shop. The images of the people are completed by using left-to-right camera motion layers in the style of the way a printer works. The POV moves inside a Hewlett-Packard inkjet printer, providing a glimpse inside the machine that makes 36,000 drops of color move through nozzles a third of the size of a human hair each second. The spot ends with the HP logo and the tagline, "Invent."
