The Hollywood Music in Media Awards™ (HMMA) has announced the 2023 nominees for scores and songs in film and other visual media categories. The awards will be presented Wednesday, November 15, at 8 p.m. (PST) at The Avalon in Hollywood.
Song nominees include Oscar-winners Billie Eilish and FINNEAS for “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie, and Olivia Rodrigo and Dan Nigro for “Can’t Catch Me Now” from Hunger Games: The Ballard of Songbirds & Snakes. Justin Timberlake, Alan Menken, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lenny Kravitz, Diane Warren, Metro Boomin, and A$AP Rocky also received nods for their original songs in films.

The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
