Young & Rubicam (Y&R) is restructuring its North American agency network. Michael Patti will now be vice chairman, focused on global creative; he had been worldwide creative director and chairman/CEO of Y&R, New York. Matt Eastwood is now executive creative director for New York.
MDC Partners, headquartered in Toronto, has purchased a 68 percent stake in agency VitroRobertson, San Diego.
Kevin Moehlenkamp is joining Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, as executive VP/executive creative director. He had been the lead creative on the Microsoft account at McCann-Erickson, San Francisco.
Craig Cooper has joined DDB Dallas as executive creative director. He was most recently executive VP/creative director at agency Flavour, Toronto.
Todd Grant has joined Publicis West, Seattle, as senior VP/creative director. He joins the agency from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, where he was part of the team that created the famed Budweiser lizards.
Bart Culberson and Paul Safsel have joined True Grey, a division of Grey Worldwide, New York, as VPs/creative directors.
Tom Lichtenheld is joining Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago, as VP/creative director.
Ray Lyle has retired as director of broadcast production at Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago, after 16 years in the post, and 35 years in the ad business.
Mike Husley has been promoted to VP/director of broadcast at agency Rives Carlberg, Houston.
Davidandgoliath, Los Angeles has announced several new creative hires. Joining the shop are: Greg Wells, associate creative director; senior copywriters Bob Rickert and Brad Roseberry; Pat Zimmerman, senior art director; and Anne-Lise Borgen, junior art director.
Todd Mackie, senior art director, and Denise Rossetto, senior copywriter, have joined DDB Canada, Toronto.
Earl Buck has joined agency Stir, Milwaukee, as a copywriter.
Trina Woldt has been named executive VP/creative general manager at Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago.

Vellas Joins Anonymous Content Brazil To Develop Content and Advertising Slate
Brazilian director Vellas has joined Anonymous Content Brazil, Anonymous Content’s joint venture with an investment from Creative Artists Agency (CAA). In his new role, Vellas will work closely with the Anonymous Content Brazil team to develop advertising and content projects to bolster their growing content slate.
Vellas continues to be repped by various production companies in different territories, including PRETTYBIRD in the U.S. and U.K. markets.
