Maru Kopelowicz, Jeff Anderson, and Cam Hoelter have joined McCann New York as executive creative directors, and Holly Hessler has come on board as a group creative director.
“The creativity and passion each of them brings to the table will help us continue to push boundaries with the work we produce,” said Tom Murphy, co-chief creative officer at McCann New York.
Kopelowicz joins McCann from Ogilvy & Mather, where she most recently led global creative for brands like Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Crowne Plaza. She began her career as a copywriter in Buenos Aires, Argentina, later moving to agency positions in Miami and New York. Her work for Tide/Ariel and Glade has won five Cannes Lions, among numerous other national and international honors.
Anderson joins most recently from CHI & Partners New York, where he was an ECD. He began his creative career as an art director at TBWAChiatDay in New York, but has also been writer in his subsequent positions at Droga5 in New York and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. His recent range of experience includes brands such as PBS, HBO, Hewlett Packard, and Chevrolet.
Hoelter, who moved to New York from Australia in 2016, was most recently an ECD at DDB New York. His broad experience includes creating award-winning work for McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Pure Blonde, Lumix and Frito-Lay. He has won awards at Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, AWARD, Spikes, Clio, Adfest, Effies, and Global Facebook Awards.
Hessler joins McCann from TBWAMedia Arts Lab in LA where she worked as a creative director and copywriter on Apple for several years. Before that, she worked on a wide range of brands like Nike, Target, Southwest, and Pepsi at Deutsch and TBWAChiatDay.
