BBH New York has appointed agency veteran Matthew Anderson to serve as chief growth officer. Anderson joins BBH following a career of business development roles as global CMO at Code & Theory, CMO at Publicis NY and managing director of business development at The Kaplan Thaler Group. Anderson was most recently CMO at the PR/Communications agency Marina Maher Communications where he led the agency’s growth and agency marketing initiatives. Anderson will report to New York CEO Anthony Romano, who recently joined BBH from R/GA.
Anderson’s business development experience began at Deutsch, where he spent nine years and was elevated to head of business development for the New York office. Throughout his career, Anderson has been responsible for influencing a long list of account wins, including Wendy’s, Abbott Nutrition, USAA, Red Lobster, PNC Bank, J&J Acuvue and Merck.
