Also garnering two wins apiece during the evening–the second of five Creative Arts Awards ceremonies–were the Oscars telecast (ABC) and RuPaul’s Drag Race (VH1). The latter won for Contemporary Makeup and Contemporary Hairstyling while the Oscars took honors for Production Design for a Variety Special, and Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special.
Two more virtual Creative Arts Emmy Award ceremonies remain–tomorrow and Thursday (9/16-17), as well as a Saturday (9/19) telecast on FXX. All five installments of the Creative Arts Emmys are hosted by Nicole Byer of Nailed It! (Netflix).
