VMLY&R, Melbourne named Global Agency of the Year; SMUGGLER earnsย Global Production Company of the Year distinction; Whitehouse nabs Post House honor
The London International Awards (LIA) unveiled its 2023 Global and Regional Of The Year Winners.
Of The Year Awards are calculated based on a point system allocated to the winning work across all LIA competitions. Last month, LIA juries awarded 826 statues from 43 countries. Also 191 entries were deemed finalists. The statue wins, as well as, the finalists are used in determining the “Of The Year” Winners.
WPP was named Holding Company Of The Year. Its agencies collected a total of 219 statues, including six Grand LIAs. They also attained 46 finalists representing 27 different countries.
Ogilvy was awarded Global Network Of The Year for the third consecutive year. It was also named Regional Network Of The Year for Asia and North America.

VMLY&R, Melbourne was named Global Agency Of The Year, and Regional Agency Of The Year for Australia and New Zealand. Its work for Honest Eggs Co. “FitChix” was awarded two Grand LIAs, 12 Golds, 7 Silver Statues and 2 Bronze, making Honest Eggs Co. the most awarded Client Of The Year. These wins contributed to VMLY&R being awarded Regional Network Of The Year for Australia and New Zealand. The Production Company, AIRBAG was named Regional Production Company Of The Year for Australia and New Zealand. BCW, Melbourne was awarded as the inaugural Global PR Company Of The Year.
SERVICEPLAN, an independent network that has expanded into all parts of the world, was named Global Independent Network Of the Year. Their agencies were honored with a Grand LIA, two Gold, five Silver and ten Bronze Statues.
SERVICEPLAN, Munich, the largest independent and partner-managed creative agency in Europe, was awarded Global Independent Agency Of the Year. They were also named Regional Independent Agency and Regional Design Company for Europe.
IPG Health was awarded Global Health & Pharma Network Of The Year and Regional Health & Pharma Network for North America. The juries awarded 16 Statues to their agencies; one Gold, six Silver and nine Bronze, they also attained two Finalists.
Area 23, an IPG Health Company, New York was awarded the Global Pharma Agency Of The Year and Regional Pharma Agency Of The Year for North America.
Klick Health, Toronto takes home their first LIA Of The Year Award being honored with Global Independent Health Agency and Regional Independent Health Agency Of The Year for North America. Their client PAWS NY was awarded Global Health & Pharma Client Of The Year. Two juries, Health & Wellness and Health & Wellness – Craft awarded “The Bridge” with a Grand LIA, four Gold Statues, a Silver and a Finalist.
EVERSANA INTOUCH, New York was named Global Independent Pharma Agency Of The Year fueled by their multiple wins for The Chrysalis Initiative campaign. They were also awarded the Regional Independent Pharma Agency for North America.
Amazon XCM was honored with their first Global In-House Company Of The Year.
Grey Colombia, Bogotรก garnered nine LIA Statues, it was their Package Design and Design wins that brought them with the honor of taking home their first Global Design Company Of The Year and Regional Design Company Of The Year awards for South America. They were also honored with Regional Agency Of The Year for South America.
SMUGGLER was named Global Production Company of the Year being credited for work that won five companies 33 Statues and one Finalist globally. SMUGGLER, London was awarded Regional Production Company Of The Year for Europe.
Whitehouse Post was named Global Post-Production Company of the Year. They were credited to work that won 2 Grand, 13 Gold, 13 Silver and 5 Bronze for four companies globally. Whitehouse Post, London was awarded Regional Post-Production Company Of The Year for Europe.
Edelman was named LIA’s inaugural Global PR Network Of The Year, points were attained from winning work entered by their offices in London, New York, Toronto and Bangkok and work that they are credited to, entered by Ogilvy London; Ogilvy Canada; Publicis Italy and Wunderman Thompson Singapore.
The Regional PR Company Of The Year winner for Europe, Edelman, London contributed to the global success, being credited for work that won 33 coveted LIA Statues for themselves (3 statues), Ogilvy London (20 statues) and Publicis Italy (10 statues).
Edelman, New York was awarded Regional PR Company Of The Year for North America, bringing home five LIA Statues.
750mph, London was awarded Global Music & Sound Company Of The Year, this is their third coveted black Global Statue win. This year they’re credited for work that won 19 statues for seven different clients including a Grand LIA awarded to work entered by Havas London titled “Me, My Autism & I”. 750mph was also named Regional Music & Sound Company Of The Year for Europe.
The Global Radio & Audio Company Of The Year was awarded for work created for Halls, this was a joint effort between DAVID Madrid and Deseif, Madrid, winning four statues in the Radio & Audio category. DAVID and Deseif were also awarded the Regional Radio & Audio Company Of The Year For Europe.

Nikki Baker Becomes CEO At Fallon
Fallon has appointed Nikki Baker as its new CEO. Baker, who joined the creative agency in 2018 and has served as co-chief creative officer with Leslie Shaffer since 2021, succeeds Rocky Novak, who has been in the role since 2019.
Bakerโs promotion to CEO comes at a time of significant momentum for the agency, including six consecutive years of growth and award-winning work.
Bakerโs recent career highlights include creatively leading the Walmart partnership with the Publicis Groupe team and spearheading innovative campaigns such as the award-winning โRomCommerceโ 23-episodic series and the internet-breaking Mean Girls campaign, among hundreds of other campaigns together with the brand over the past few years. Together with Shaffer, Baker has also been instrumental in elevating Fallonโs creative output for longstanding clients like Arbyโs, Mattress Firm, and Front Door/American Home Shield.
