Lee Hunt Associates (LHA), New York, has named Maribeth Phillips executive producer of on-air design.
At her new post, Phillips will oversee the development of on-air design projects, including responsibilities in production, budgeting, staffing, and the management of creative personnel. With LHA creative director of on-air design Bob English, Phillips will also assist in expanding the division.
At LHA, Phillips has begun work for PBS Kids, including a logo, an on-air graphics package, and a series of "Ready to Learn" campaign spots. She is also supervising the redesign of FOX Kids, the logo and redesign of FOX movie channel fXM, and a summer-themed package for Toon Disney.
Before joining the LHA staff, Phillips freelanced for a year at the company as executive producer of on-air design. In that capacity, she oversaw show packaging for the HBO series What Matters and the redesign of Court TV.
Phillips also had freelanced as a producer in New York and Los Angeles. She worked on a spot campaign for adidas, featuring the New York Yankees via Leagas Delaney, San Francisco, which won two ’98 Silver Lions at Cannes, as well as commercials for Subaru, Miller Lite, American Express and AT&T.
Phillips began her career at Levinson, Israelson and Bell, a now defunct live-action commercial production company, joining as assistant and eventually was appointed executive producer.
