Energy BBDO has added Lara Herzer to its team as executive creative director. She will coach and develop the next generation of creative talent at the Chicago shop while taking the creative lead for clients including Bayer (Bayer Aspirin, Claritin, One a Day, Alka-Seltzer, Afrin, MiraLAX).
Herzer joins the team from Dentsu, where she spent the last 14 years leading genre-defying creative like Intel’s Certified Human, the five-Lion-winning Titanium-shortlisted technology that pioneers deepfake detection. She also supported brands like Adobe, Jeep, Bud Light, Disney and others during her time at Dentsu.
Herzer’s work during her Dentsu tenure garnered Cannes Lions, and recognition from The One Show, Clios, Webby and Shortys.
At Dentsu she moved up the ranks from associate creative director to creative director, then group creative director and finally executive creative director.
Prior to Dentsu, she was a sr. copywriter at FCB Chicago.
