THE SPOT
"It’s Amazing" (:30) opens on a snake slithering through what appears to be a vast desert. A man pitifully crawls along the ground, thirsty and hot. Suddenly, a young girl walks by and flips on a switch, which starts a ceiling fan in motion. Gradually, the sands of the "desert" disintegrate into the standard comforts of a living room. The girl looks disapprovingly at her father and says "Dad, you’re weird." "Saving energy, it’s a way of life," states the narrator. The last scene shows the father reclining on the couch and basking in the glory of his ceiling fan.
Spot broke in May.
