Production house JOJX has added director Matt Bieler to its talent roster.
Born and raised in Southern California, Bieler adopted a love for filmmaking at a young age, eventually dedicating himself to the craft after garnering interest for his independent work from Anonymous Content, Serial Pictures and RESET Content. His projects have made SHOOT’s The Best Work You May Never See gallery, including an anti-bullying short film, Betty B., in which a young girl talks about a friend who turns out to be anything but. Bieler is also an alum of SHOOT's 2012 New Directors Showcase.
Bieler, who was most recently repped in the U.S. ad market by Loveboat, brings to JOJX a track record of work with varied brands including Coca-Cola, Apple, Adidas, Heineken, Modelo, Hyundai, Vans, Bose, JBL, and Blue Shield and has collaborated with celebrities Benicio Del Toro, Steph Curry, Anderson Paak, Jane Goodall, Misty Copeland, Damian Lillard, Rakim, Amanda Nunes and more.
Bieler’s films have captivated audiences globally with a commitment to capturing his subjects with authenticity and raw energy. His short film, 3 Queens, is a touching tribute to motherhood. The film tells the stories of three mothers living in different regions through the eyes and voices of their children. Garnering over 6 million views online and featured on BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post, 3 Queens is a testament to Bieler’s ability to create films that have a lasting impact on viewers.
Bieler said he was drawn to the JOJX team which “shares my belief in pushing boundaries. Their dedication to fostering and supporting creative talent is inspiring, and I’m honored to be a part of such a passionate team.”
“Matt’s talent and dedication as a director is unparalleled, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to JOJX,” said Joe Care, executive producer and co-founder of JOJX. “He continues to push himself creatively and expand the limits of what is possible in the world of film and advertising.
