Formed by veteran producers John Noble and Brad Powell, Fixer Partners is an outsourced agency production department, geared to manage agencies and brands through the creative commercial process.
Noble and Powell bring to their new venture accomplished backgrounds in agency producing, agency production management, and executive producing for commercial production companies. Together they have amassed 40-plus years of knowledge and experience in the commercial production space.
The company is off to a fast start, fresh off a campaign for the acclaimed Super Bowl “Journey” content for 84 Lumber, and U.S. Marines’ “Anthem” spot.
Fixer Partners will offer a slate of services, including production management and consultation, freelance producers, business affairs management, talent specialists and music licensing. The team will aid in budget management and guarantee a cost efficient partnership. “As our industry evolves, we saw the need to offer agency-based creative production services wherever and whenever,” said Noble. “Fixer Partners is here for both agencies and brands who don’t have staff production departments, yet still need to produce the very best work with the most talented directors and vendors.”
Powell added, “In comparison to outdated models our cost structure is pretty darn attractive; we are truly a one-stop shop for brands and agencies. Fixer Partners is purpose-built for the production of branded content.”
Noble and Powell have a wealth of experience between them. Their careers span agencies like BBDO, Wieden+Kennedy, ChiatDay, Barton F. Graf, The Martin Agency, HUGE, and JWT; and such brands as Budweiser, Samsung, GEICO, Audi, Gatorade, American Express, Quaker, Microsoft and Coca-Cola.
Noble has produced and managed over 5,000 TV commercials and content pieces for beer, cars, food, financial services, and everything in between. As director of production at The Martin Agency he was instrumental in raising the production values for GEICO, UPS, SAAB, and Hanes brands. He then joined Element 79 Partners in Chicago as head of production, and years later jumped the fence managing production companies such as ONE at Optimus, Eyeball and TPSC. He’s come full circle by launching Fixer Partners.
Powell has worked for top agencies in NYC and beyond for 19 years. At The Martin Agency he helped create and produce the original Caveman and Gecko TV spots, both of which are on the advertising Walk of Fame. He spent two years at Hill Holliday in Boston as EP/VP. running Dunkin’ Donuts and John Hancock. Over the last eight years in New York he has produced work for shops including BBDO, Wieden+Kennedy, Anomaly, Ogilvy, Sid Lee, HUGE and JWT.
