Publicis New York, the North America flagship office of Publicis Worldwide, expands its commitment to creative digital and physical experiences, tapping John Biondi to serve in the new role of chief experience officer (CXO). Biondi comes directly from SapientRazorfish in Minneapolis where he was executive creative director and brand experiences lead for North America.
As creative lead of the office’s experience capability, he will partner with chief creative officer Andy Bird and report to Publicis NY CEO Carla Serrano.
Biondi has a rich pedigree across all dimensions of UX, design and strategy for experiences. Prior to joining SapientRazorfish in 2013, he was executive creative director at Modern Climate and before that, ECD and partner at Atomic Playpen. Biondi has worked with a variety of blue-chip clients including Target, Citi, Harley Davidson; McDonald’s and Allstate.
Biondi stated, “I’ve spent my whole career exploring the possibilities that exist when you mash up creativity and technology. As I’ve gotten to know Carla and the leadership team at Publicis Worldwide, I’ve learned they are a group as passionate and ambitious about this pursuit as any I’ve met. I’m excited to join forces and help shape the work we create.”
