Director Jamie Travis has joined bicoastal production company Interrogate for U.S. representation. Travis made a splash at last year’s Sundance Film Festival with the screening of his irreverent comedy For a Good Time, Call…, starring Ari Graynor, Justin Long and Seth Rogen. Focus Features released the film theatrically last summer; it centers on two adversaries who come together to launch a successful phone sex business.
Prior to For a Good Time, Call…, the Canadian-born writer/director established an international reputation with his darkly comedic short films The Saddest Boy in the World, The Armoire and The Patterns Trilogy. His work has been screened at more than 200 film festivals worldwide, from Sundance to SXSW to the Toronto International Film Festival.
Travis has also directed spots for the Canadian market where he continues to be repped by Untitled Films, Toronto. He’s also helmed music videos for indie artists Tegan and Sara for the tracks “Back in Your Head” and “Hell.”
With offices in L.A. and New York, Interrogate is headed by founder/managing director Jeff Miller.
