Bicoastal HKM Productions has entered into a strategic alliance with New York-headquartered Filter Media, an enhanced television and convergence-strategy consulting and content-development firm. The relationship is designed to allow both companies to better pursue and deliver on enhanced TV commercial and video production initiatives.
Steve Skibba, a former copywriter at Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, Ore., and veteran TV/film composer Phil Rosenthal have teamed to launch V-72s Music+Sound Design, Los Angeles.
Liberty Livewire Audio has restructured and renamed its Hollywood-based division formerly known as Soundelux Showorks West. The new moniker is Soundelux Design Music Group (DMG), which will provide music and sound design for commercials, trailers and new-media clients. Jeffrey Eisner continues as executive producer. Scott Gershin, supervising sound editor for American Beauty and Flubber, will serve as Soundelux DMG’s creative director. Bill Brown has been retained as music director. Becky Allen has been named business manager/producer for new media. And former independent rep Darlene Gorzela has joined as business manager/producer and will handle commercial sales for the division.
