Creative music studio HiFi Project has hired 12-year industry veteran Claire Hecamp as executive producer/music supervisor.
Hailing from London, Hecamp has during her short time in New York launched the East Coast outpost of independent record label Ninja Tune. There she was responsible for global projects for Nike, Adidas, Guinness, Pepsi, Google, State Farm, Samsung, and Motorola among others. She has contributed to a range of projects spanning music and interactive media, TV, advertising, sync licensing, music publishing, and original composition.
At HiFi Project, Hecamp is most looking forward to flexing her music supervision muscles and working on original compositions, along with showcasing a wide variety of artists from a myriad of record labels. HiFi Project partner/EP Jack Bradley said of Hecamp, “Her hands-on style is sure to serve our clients extremely well.”
HiFi project, founded in 2007, has studios in Santa Monica, Minneapolis, and most recently, New York’s SoHo. Noted R&B composer Kevin Theodore is the most recent addition to the NYC studio. Recent work includes original composition and sound design for Target, Ram, Nike, Samsung, Jaguar, and LL Bean.
