THE SPOT
"Orange You Glad" colorfully highlight some of the summer offerings at Target. After opening with colorful, fruit print umbrellas that spin to the music of the B-52s, colors are interspersed with different images depicting the activities of summer. A family plays ball alongside an orange picnic table, children frolic in a blue inflatable pool, and a woman in sunglasses lounges on a brightly colored beach chair. Throughout the :30, the B-52’s sing, "Orange you glad it’s summer," in chorus with the vivid colors. The spot ends with the red Target logo against an intense orange backdrop, and the tag, "Expect more and pay less."
Spot broke in May.
