THE SPOTS
Three :30s in Miller Brewing’s "Live Responsibly" campaign illustrate the consequences of reckless drinking. In "Truly a Married Man/Love and Life," an attractive woman gives her phone number to a sober married man. When the bartender asks him if he’d like something else, he thinks about his family, passes the number back and states that he’ll stick with what he has. In "Morning After," a sleeping woman is awakened by the sound of a vacuum cleaner outside her hotel room. She realizes that there’s someone’s arm near her face; she peels down the sheet and finds a strange man in bed with her. He wakes up and both scream in shock at each other. And in "Moving In," a hung-over man is roused by a phone call from a friend. The caller kids the man about how drunk he was the night before. Suddenly the hung-over guy has his "girlfriend" show up with frilly furniture and teddy bears, excited that the previous night, the man had suggested that she move in with him.
