THE SPOTS
Three commercials promoting the action sports competition X Games X on ESPN feature athletes in various airport scenarios, all rushing to get to Los Angeles for the event. In "Window Seat" (:30), skateboarders Bob Burnquist and Bucky Lasek learn there is only one window seat remaining on their flight to L.A., so they race through the airport, showing off their skills along the way. However when they arrive at the seat, they find out they were beaten out by someone else. In "Getting There" (:30), surfer Rob Machado brings his surfboard along for the trip, much to the dismay of his fellow passengers, while bike stunt rider Ryan Nyquist attempts to use a recent magazine photo spread as identification for airline security. The anthem :60 "LAX" features all these athletes plus skateboarder Shaun White and moto x rider Travis Pastrana completing various stunts throughout the airport.
