Production company Good Times has added TJ O’Grady-Peyton to its directorial roster for U.S. commercial representation. With more than a decade of experience in the commercial space, he has worked with elite international athletes and his global brand clients including Under Armour, UEFA, Asics, Lincoln, Gatorade, Peloton, Volkswagen, BMW, and The European Union.
This year, O’Grady-Peyton’s Screen Ireland-funded short film Room Taken won Best Irish Short Film at the Dublin International Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Cleveland International Film Festival, making the film eligible for consideration at the 2025 Academy Awards. His short Silence debuted at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and he won the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at Galway Film Fleadh.

He’s an amazing communicator, on set and off,” said Bernadette Spear, executive producer at Good Times. “His familiarity with postproduction informs his directorial approach, ensuring a level of ease on projects. TJ’s natural curiosity means he’s always learning about the latest tools and technology he can employ in his craft.”
O’Grady-Peyton gained industry recognition as a finalist for the Young Director Awards at Cannes 2013 for his Adidas spec film, following his completion of a Masters in filmmaking at the London Film School. His commercial work has since garnered acclaim from the Webbys, Clios, Art Directors Club, Kinsale Sharks, and AICP Awards. He received the Discovery Award from the Dublin International Film Festival and his short film Wave, in which he also acted, won an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Short and was showcased in The New Yorker and Disney. After premiering at Tribeca in 2017, Wave screened at 75 festivals including BFI, Melbourne, Aspen, and Clermont Ferrand.

O’Grady-Peyton is in development on three separate films. Internationally, he is repped by Darling in the U.K., Betti Berlin + Kanu Films in Germany (non-exclusive), Motherland in Ireland, Gang Films in France, and JSA globally. Prior to joining Good Time, he had most recently been repped in the U.S. ad market by m ss ng p eces.

Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis went from strangers to father and daughter in short order for the new film "Goodrich."
Before cameras started rolling, they were essentially only able to meet once. It was a dinner with their writer-director Hallie Meyers-Shyer, who just had a feeling they'd be great together.
And before they knew it they were off to the races, embodying two people with a lifetime of hurt behind them, wondering if a real relationship is even possible at this point: He's attempting to reconcile his absence in her youth and find a place in her life now, while parenting young twins from his second marriage; She's preparing to have a child of her own and wondering if she can trust her dad to be there this time.
But neither were particularly worried. The script, they said, was just that good.
"Hallie's writing was so honest and genuine and never felt forced," Kunis said. "It never felt fake and never felt anything other than the story of these people. Everything made sense. The dynamic was real. The relationships felt real."
Meyers-Shyer is the daughter of filmmakers Nancy Meyers and Charles Shyer, who not only got a film education at home, but also frequented her mother's sets and even appeared in several films as an extra. She made her directorial debut in 2017 with the Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy "Home Again" and started writing "Goodrich" soon after.
