Lee Hunt Associates (LHA), entertainment brand specialists and primary agency for FOX Kids Latin America, has expanded its creative staff with the addition of Carlos Ferreyros as creative director, Latin America. The new position was created because of the continued growth of the New York company’s broadcast advertising, marketing and promotion work in the Latin American marketplace, according to LHA president and founder Lee Hunt. Ferreyros will work on the new FOX Kids Latin America account and coordinate the initiative with the FOX Kids domestic package. He will also develop opportunities for LHA in the Latin American market and further the agency’s commitment to provide personalized service to clients with global growth strategies.
"Carlos’s experience and vast understanding of the Latin American marketplace blend nicely with the creative talent and business acumen of LHA," Hunt said, "and make our marketing team truly bilingual as well as multicultural. His experience with both Spanish-language broadcasters here in the U.S. and throughout South America makes him a valuable asset."
Ferreyros joins LHA from his own firm, Cyclops Inc., Miami Beach, where he developed and produced image campaigns for a variety of clients, including the recent launch of a Nickelodeon block on the U.S. Spanish-language network Telemundo. Under the Cyclops banner, Ferreyros also developed and produced program pilots, as well as specials for Telemundo and various promotional campaigns for different networks.
Ferreyros also served as creative director for The Warner Channel-HBO Latin America Group, where he was responsible for the on-air look of the service as well as creative direction for marketing and promotional campaigns. Previously, he was the creative services director for the Telemundo Network, supervising all of its on-air advertising, art and programming development services.
Currently, LHA is agency of record for PBS and the primary agency for FOX Kids Latin America. Last year, LHA created NBC’s fall redesign; performed a major redesign for PBS; executed Lifetime’s fall campaign; and launched Lifetime’s first digital network, LMN, as well as Disney’s animation channel, Toon Disney. In ’97, LHA repositioned and redesigned Disney Channel, launched CBS Eye on People, and redesigned Sony’s Game Show Network.
