The creative team of John Regan and Tor Lemhag has joined FCB Chicago with each assuming the role of VP/creative director. Well-known for their work on the Van Gogh Air BnB campaign for the Art Institute of Chicago, Regan and Lemhag were teamed at Leo Burnett where they won 20 Lions, four D&AD pencils, eight Clios including the Grand Clio, two One Show Pencils, and an AICP Next Award in the Experiential category while working not only on “Van Gogh BnB” but also on campaigns such as Allstate’s “Social Savvy Burglar” and “Send Back Luck,” and UnitedHealthcare’s “Ways In.”
“Van Gogh BnB” was a joint marketing effort in which Vincent Van Gogh’s painting “The Bedroom” was brought to life in painstaking detail. Then the room was rented out on Airbnb.
“John and Tor are known for incredible creative work that goes far beyond the expected. Their talent, humility and diverse creative passions are perfectly aligned with the creative culture we are building at FCB Chicago. We look forward to seeing the new ideas they will bring to our client’s brands,” said Liz Taylor, chief creative officer of FCB Chicago.
