Havas Worldwide NY has brought Pete Gosselin and Jay Hunt on board as creative directors. The duo comes over from Droga5 where Gosselin was sr. copywriter and Hunt served as sr. art director. The award-winning creative pair will be working with the TD Ameritrade team at Havas.
Since joining forces in 2003, Gosselin and Hunt have been with several notable agencies. While at Droga5, the two partnered on spots for NRG, Prudential and Chase including the “Everything Unlimited” campaign featuring Ellie Kemper.
Prior to joining Droga5, the pair spent two years at Grey New York, where they worked on Canon and P&G and earned a Cannes Lion in PR for “Wake Up to Eggs with Bacon” with Kevin Bacon for the American Egg Board.
From 2011 to 2013, Gosselin and Hunt were at DDB Auckland, creating McDonald’s award-winning global campaign “Staying Up” as part of the brand’s sponsorship with the 2012 London Olympics. Gosselin and Hunt have also collaborated on creative for Cadbury, Shelter, Vodafone, and InterCasino, among others.

Droga5 Appoints Emma Montgomery As Global Chief Strategy Officer
Creative agency network Droga5 has appointed Emma Montgomery as global chief strategy officer. She is the third global appointment for the agency this year, with Pelle Sjoenell named worldwide chief creative officer this past March, and global CEO Mark Green recently appointed this fall. Montgomery will be responsible for connecting and supercharging Droga5โs strategy and creative offerings globally. She will be based in its headquarters in New York City.

Montgomery joins Droga5 after serving as CEO of DDB Chicago. Sheโs been in the industry for over 20 years, and has served in several high-level leadership positions throughout her career, including as president and CSO of Leo Burnett Chicago, global CSO of TBWA, and CEO of Leo Burnett Australia. Sheโs also worked across a breadth of categories and multiple global clients such as Kraft, Aldi, Diageo and Molson Coors, among many others, including challenger brands and startups.
