Director Kate Hollowell has signed with Epoch Films for commercial representation in the U.S. and U.K.
Highly prolific filmmaker and comedian Hollowell developed a keen eye for visuals as a photographer and creative director, Hollowell has collaborated with artists and brands ranging from Katy Perry to Zara. Formerly repped in the advertising arena by More Media, Hollowell now brings her sartorial and sardonic point of view to the commercial world via Epoch.
“I could not be more thrilled to partner with Epoch Films, a company led by strong and talented women, pushing creative boundaries together,” said Hollowell.
Epoch EP Jacki Calleiro said, “Kate is a creative triple threat–director, performer and writer. Her work initially struck me as not only fresh & funny, but also deeply relatable. When I met her, I was immediately dazzled by her tenacity, wit, and intelligence. A peek behind the curtain of what drives her seems to be a constant churning of ideas and a fascination with human nature. The Epoch team is honored to work with Kate and looks forward to amplifying her multidisciplinary comedic voice in the commercial space. She is a true show-stopper.”
It was announced last week that Hollowell’s music video “Dance Away the Pain” for Number One Popstar will be in competition at the 2023 SXSW Festival in March.
Hollowell and Epoch are represented in the West by Dexter Randazzo and Jonathan Logan at The Department of Sales; in the East by Tara Averill and John Robertson at RepresentationCo; and in the Midwest by Chris Brown & Nicole Feddock at Baer Brown Reps. Hollowell will be working with Megan Campbell at Epoch UK.
