Moxie Pictures has signed Ruben Fleischer for representation in the U.S. and U.K. The genre-spanning filmmaker began his career directing commercials and music videos, honing his skills and successfully diversifying into feature films and television.
Fleischer is well known for his feature work which includes star-studded films such as Uncharted, Venom, Gangster Squad and Zombieland
On the television front, he directed the pilots of The Good Lawyer for ABC, St. Dennis Medical for NBC, Santa Clarita Diet for Netflix and American Housewife for ABC. He also directed the pilot and finale episodes of NBC’s Superstore, and stayed on to produce all 113 episodes.
Fleischer additionally produced The Bold Type for Freeform, Stumptown for ABC and the limited series The White House Plumbers for HBO. He recently received an Emmy nomination (Outstanding Comedy Series) for his work in developing and executive producing Jury Duty for Amazon. Jury Duty received a total of four Emmy nominations this year.
Fleischer’s commercial work includes campaigns for Hyundai, Samsung, Capital One and Chrysler. Prior to joining Moxie, he was previously represented by Caviar.
