Production house JOJX has added director Oliver Würffell to its roster for exclusive commercial and music video representation in the U.S.
JOJX and Würffell’s first project together, the new “Rise” campaign for Cadillac, premiered during the 2019 Oscars telecast on ABC this past Sunday (2/24). The anthem spot “Rise Above” explores one’s rise to success, fame or the next chapter in one’s life respectively, celebrating a spirit of perseverance.
Würffell is best known for his dynamic car films for clients including Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Recently, Würffell directed the European launch films for the first ever BMW X3M and BMW X4M as well as for the all-new Audi Q8. Würffell has a penchant for creating cinematic experiences by capturing a vehicle’s full performance in-camera and not relying on post for enhancement.
The director continues to be repped internationally by Global Players, which had handled him worldwide prior to JOJX now taking his representation reins in the American market.
In addition to being a master of highly technical car and stunt work, Würffell has an affinity for telling human stories. He has brought this blend of emotional storytelling and visual abilities to his work for such brands as Toyota, Land Rover, Biotherm, Rimowa, RedBull, Sony, and Converse.
Jackson Morton, JOJX EP and partner, shared, “I’ve been a fan of Oliver for a while; the energy he achieves from the films he shoots is extraordinary. Seeing firsthand Oliver’s ability to communicate with talent and crew to give them the confidence to perform at their highest level past ‘good’ to something ‘great’ is inspiring to say the least.”
Said Würffell, “As a filmmaker, I always want to create a unique, cinematic experience that excites the audience. And those emotions are what I want to keep creating together with JOJX.”

Barking Owl CEO Kirkland Alexander Lynch said of Bowers, “His artistry, diversity of style and depth of storytelling bring an unparalleled edge to the work we create for global brands.
