Production company tinygiant has added director Luigi Pane to its roster. Pane was previously represented commercially in the U.S. by Humble.
Italian director Pane’s body of work spans commercials, original content, video art installations, and short films. Born in Naples, Pane moved to Milan to study design at the Politecnico di Milano. His career took off quickly through collaborations with brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel, and Ray-Ban, gaining widespread recognition for his exciting visual perspective and brooding themes. He went on to co-found and become creative director of abstr^ct:groove, an internationally lauded creative production studio and filmmaking collective based in Milan.
He’s worked for global brands including Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Hyundai, Toyota, GMC, and Audi on campaigns that have his signature fusion of automotive, fashion, beauty, and innovative storytelling.
Pane has received an Epica d’Or at the Epica Awards for his short film for Diesel, Explorers of the Past and Future. He was also awarded the Special Prize at the Milan International Film Festival for his architectural mapping project Building Urban Motion and Special Recognition at the London International Awards and PIVI awards for his collaboration with artist Franky B, aka Cryptic Monkey, on the surreal music video “Vesuvius Bunks.”
“With Luigi, every polished shot packs a punch,” said Veronica Diaferia, founder/EP at tinygiant. “He has an ability to push an idea all the way to the edge, and then over it, making instantly classic work.”
“I approach everything as a work of art,” stated Pane. “I love to experiment and be open to shifting paradigms. tinygiant understands and shares this perspective.”
