ModOp Films has signed director Juergen Bollmeyer for exclusive representation in North America.
“It’s fabulous to find a director that has forged a career in two major genres from capturing the beauty of automotive to delivering compelling storytelling with global health brands. It’s a testament to Juergen’s collaborative spirit and exacting eye,” said Rossi Cannon, ModOp Films co-founder/managing director. “He won a Lion for his Health spot in 2014 for Stryker –that spot was all shot in camera without VFX. I just love it, and obviously so did a lot of people.”
The referenced honor was a Cannes Health Silver Lion. The Stryker piece also earned a Bronze Clio, adding to accolades for Bollmeyer’s work, spanning broadcast spots to digital projects, which also include recognition from the Art Directors Club Of Germany, The London International Advertising Awards, as well as several Gold Awards at the Us International Film Festival, and the Grand Award at the New York Festivals (for Mercedes-Benz).
Bollmeyer has traveled the globe, turning out work for such clients as Audi, Bayer, Blue Cross, BMW, Buick, Chevy, Coca-Cola, Deutsch Bank, Jaguar, Lexus, Alfa Romeo, Red Cross, Smart, Toyota and UBS. Prior to joining ModOp Films, he was handled by Bully Pictures and earlier Crossroads. Having previously worked as a freelance copywriter for brands and networks, Bollmeyer has a keen awareness of client side needs, and enjoys the collaborative process to create striking, authentic narratives.
Bollmeyer joins a ModOp roster that includes Paul Goldman, Scott Toepfer, Mat Humphrey, Steve Antin, Dana Christiaansen, KRONCK and Ram Baruch. Co-founder/partner in the company is Steve Schofield. ModOp also has secured Marla Mossberg as its West Coast rep.
