Gradient Pictures has added Italian film director JANSEN to its roster for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content. He has already wrapped a project at his new roost–“Run With The Pack,” the official season anthem for the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Arizona Coyotes.
Prior to joining Gradient Pictures, JANSEN had most recently been repped in the U.S. by Wildchild Content. JANSEN’s reel includes work for such brands as Asics, Lamborghini, Tesla and Maestro Dobel Tequila.
JANSEN started out directing music videos, garnering recognition in markets worldwide following an early career in DJ-ing and music production. This ingrained in him an instinctive understanding of the rhythms of visual communication. He also brings global sensibilities to the table. During his childhood, JANSEN, who was born in Milan, traveled extensively, which has translated into his visual art. He has an Italian touch of style, creativity and elegance which becomes all the more distinctive when influenced by his deep international background.
“It’s not just about making commercials and selling products, there is much more behind this for me, it’s a journey and I am trying to travel more and more,” said JANSEN. “Of course you need a perfect fellow partner for this, someone who has their own point of view, even from a different perspective, someone who believes in your destination, even if he cannot see it clearly until the very end. This is what Gradient Pictures is for me. I know the team at Gradient Pictures will help me break into the U.S. market.”
That Gradient team includes: Motion Picture Academy member Olcun Tan, company co-founder and managing director; co-founder/executive producer Christopher Scheimann; and associate producer Greta Kaehlitz. Gradient represents an international roster of directors and is active in spots, film, branded entertainment and music videos. The company’s recent clients include Audi, Nestle, PepsiCo, Honda and Heineken.
