Believe Media has taken on commercial representation in the U.S. for director Bruce St. Clair. This marks his return to the Believe roster where he previously directed spots for AT&T, Chevrolet, Nationwide and Samsung. Most recently he had been repped in the American ad market by Supply & Demand.
St. Clair first began working in the industry in London as a runner at RSA. Later, he moved to Spain to build his career working on numerous commercial sets. Fluent in English and Spanish, St,. Clair was quickly pulled closer to camera and actors to translate direction for directors. These immersive experiences on-set would lay the groundwork for St. Clair’s path to directing.
Today, St, Clair is a steadfast collaborator with global brands having gone on to direct projects for Coca-Cola, Gillette, Audi, Mini and agencies Energy BBDO, TBWA, Leo Burnett, McCann, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, DDB, David&Goliath, and Saatchi & Saatchi, among others. His work has earned Cannes Lions, Clios, and D&AD honors, including the heartwarming spot “Ben’s Glasses” for Pearle Vision that earned a Silver Clio in 2017.
“It’s fantastic returning to Believe Media,” commented St. Clair. “Believe introduced me to the U.S. market at the start of my career and I couldn’t be happier to continue the great collaborative work again.”
An avid explorer of new creative solutions and untethered to style or genre, St. Clair enjoys the rapid evolution of the advertising industry and its consistent challenge to change storytelling formats, camera work and editing techniques.
“Bruce’s work is beautiful and has a warm human touch,” said Believe Media CEO/EP Liz Silver. “We’re happy to be reunited with him and create a new chapter of work together.”
