Unicorns & Unicorns has added director Bobbi Rich to its roster for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content. Rich’s capabilities range from director to photographer, production designer, creative director, art director, interior designer, and live-experience creative director for clients such as Spotify, Apple. Monster Energy, Starburst, Sirius XM, Women’s Magazine, Martel, D’usse, Coca Cola and more.
Recent projects for director Rich include commercial campaigns for Starburst Airs Gummies, which included an environmental installation, Hoosier Lottery, as well as music videos for Butch Walker (featuring L.A.’s legendary Bob Baker Marionette Theater), Pearl Charles and the Pixies. Rich is also currently in development on a series of film and television projects.
“We’re always looking for true Unicorns to build out our squad–people who can speak to every facet of this industry and do it from a unique perspective,” shared Unicorns & Unicorns founder Adrianne McCurrach. “We thought we found that in Bobbi, but we had no idea. Bobbi isn’t just a Unicorn, she’s a true original. She’s an epic artist, commercial and music video director, creative director, writer, experiential and immersive designer, and incomparable storyteller. She can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about trucking and CBs and music folklore and how to combine it all into a metaverse experience–and she’ll do it with her weiner dog Sloopy draped around her neck. Bobbi breaks the mold, and we are excited beyond reason to spread magic with her.”
Rich added, “I’m so excited to have found a band of horses like Unicorns & Unicorns that’s not afraid to mess things up a bit in all the far out ways. To expand out of the same old routine and narrative. I’ve worked as a creative in so many facets of the business, but I really feel I have only just scratched the surface of what kinds of work I’d like to make. I feel finding a home that really supports and encourages my creativity to the most technicolored places it may go…well is just what I’ve always searched for. Not only have I found representation that I feel understands me as an artist but believes in all the places I will go with it.”
Prior to joining Unicorns & Unicorns, Rich was most recently handled in the advertising arena by production house Helo.
Besides her directorial endeavors, Rich has also done extensive work as a lifestyle photographer for brands, hotels, as well as fashion and apparel.
As a production designer and art director, she’s worked with studios and streaming platforms such as Hulu, Netflix, Fox, Sony, Google, NBC, Universal and YouTube, among others.
Additionally, Rich was the creative director and interior designer for Nashville’s new experiential ‘70s-inspired hotspot “The Dive Motel & Swim Club.” It has been featured in Condรฉ Nast’s top 10 experiential hotels of 2020 as well as in Architectural Digest.
