Bicoastal film production company Curfew has added multi-disciplinary director Andrew Litten to its talent roster.
Litten’s passion for filmmaking stemmed from his upbringing in Atlanta, where he cut his teeth in the city’s vibrant music, fashion and skate scenes, developing a unique style that blurs the lines between commercials, music videos, documentaries, and short films. Since then, his work has been screened at international film festivals and has gained awards recognition. Prior to joining Curfew, he had most recently been represented by Stink Films.
Among Litten’s credits are the “King’s Blvd” music video for Nana, and the “Unprecedented campaign for Northwestern Medicine. The latter received a YDA nomination. His brand collaborations include a gripping film for P&G that profiles employees from around the globe–Brazil, China, India, Germany, Japan, and the U.S.–and a recent short film series that celebrated The Beach Boys 60th Anniversary. Litten’s additional commercial clients include Spotify, Google, AirBnB, and Taco Bell.
“Joining Curfew feels as if I’ve been invited into a tight-knit family of artists who are just as motivated and excited as I am about the pursuit of filmmaking, if not more,” said Litten. “We share the belief that commercial work can still be a medium in which boundaries are pushed, and new ways of telling stories are still waiting to be found. I truly cannot wait to begin our own journey together, turning over every stone in our path.”
Director Spencer Dennis, Curfew founder, said, “Andrew is a visionary talent who brings a distinct and powerful voice to everything he creates. His visual storytelling explores the nuances of humanity while transcending the expected formula.”
Curfew was founded in Brooklyn in 2015, and opened an office in Los Angeles in 2021. In addition to Litten, its roster of directors includes Mike Lee Thomas, Madeline Clayton, Angie Bird, Abraham Felix, and Mark & Spencer. Curfew is represented on the East Coast by Jared Shapiro of Moustache, on the West Coast by Lauren Schuchman of Diplomat Reps, and in the Midwest by Doug Stephen of Doug Stephen & Partners.
