THE SPOT
"Chasm" (:30), the second ad in the company’s "See What Happens" campaign, focuses on the braking ability of the 2004 Mitsubishi Galant GTS as compared to the Honda Accord EX V6. The spot features the Galant and Accord racing head-to-head across a partially constructed bridge, which leads to a long drop into the ocean. Both vehicles break at the same time as the end of the bridge approaches. The commercial then stops mid-action, directing viewers to www.SeeWhatHappens.com for the dramatic conclusion. The soundtrack is Devo’s "Uncontrollable Urge."
