THE SPOTS
"Backyard" opens on a barbecue scene, where two guys standing near a grill and an ice-filled bucket of bottled beers get into a one-upmanship contest. One of the men makes a comparison between "a low-carb beer " and "a great tasting low-carb beer," the latter of which is an Aspen. "Sort of like where you went to college and where I went to college," the man tells his friend. The buddy responds, "Oh, you mean like the number of girls you’ve dated, and the number of girls I’ve dated." In a final comparison, the first man says, "It’s more like your steak"—he grabs a steak off the grill and tosses it to the ground—"and my steaks," he concludes, indicating the sizzling meats left on the grill. "19th Hole" features a similar scenario, which takes place in a bar. There the man continues his comparisons of golf clubs and golf games, as well as hairlines. Both :30s end with the tag, "Arguably, the best low-carb lager."
