How do you present an HIV/AIDS message during a festive event like the Super Bowl? That was the task faced by the creative team at DDB Seattle: to formulate a PSA on HIV/AIDS prevention for the Kaiser Family Foundation, a nonprofit, private operating foundation focusing on major health care issues. "The Super Bowl is such a happy environment. It’s filled with comedy," DDB associate creative director Eric Gutierrez said. "So we knew we had to do something big, and we knew that it should be uplifting. That’s one of the mandates we had from Kaiser—it had to be optimistic."
