DAVID has expanded the roster at its newly opened New York office with the appointments of Linus Oura as creative director and Guilherme Pinheiro as associate creative director. They will report directly to Luiza Prata Carvalho, managing director, and Andrรฉ Toledo, chief creative officer.
Originally from Brazil, Oura joins DAVID after two years at GUT Sรฃo Paulo, where as a creative director, he was responsible for creating and leading local, regional, and global campaigns for brands like Mercado Livre, Nestlรฉ and Dove. Last year he helped the agency win its first Grand Prix at Cannes Lions for Mercado Livre and this year he repeated his success with seven lions.
Prior to joining DAVID New York, Pinheiro was part of the inaugural DAVID Madrid team, creating for brands like Burger King, Activision, Twitter and Mondelฤz International. Before DAVID, Pinheiro worked as a copywriter at AKQA Sรฃo Paulo and Grey Brazil, where he developed projects for brands like Nike, Deezer, Netflix, Google and AB InBev, among others. His work has been recognized in the industry’s top shows, including two Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions for Nike and ReclameAquรญ, two years in a row.
Linus and Guilherme will work across all accounts, including TD Bank (US), Coca-Cola and AB InBev.
