THE SPOT
"Invisible Game" tells the story of Converse’s heritage, and specifically the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers via a "spoken word" voiceover. The :30 shows a basketball being dribbled and thrown around a court by invisible players, as a tribute is made to Julius Erving, the Harlem Renaissance, and a time "before fiberglass, before parquet." The poem ends with: "Before school had a name. Converse. The First School."
