THE SPOT
"Mountain Men" (:45) opens on two bears entering a cabin in the woods. They rummage through the refrigerator and then open a cooler, finding only an empty Pepsi bottle and the six-pack plastic ring. Groaning in frustration, the bears decide to do something about this. The spot cuts to a convenience store counter where the clerk is given a check to pay for a case of Pepsi. The man asks for ID and is handed the license of a man with a beard and winter hat. As the clerk compares the license to the person who handed it to him, that person is revealed to be one of the bears dressed in the bearded man’s clothing, along with a hat and a pair of sunglasses. The clerk finally approves the ID and the bears quickly exit the store.
Spot broke Feb. 1.
