DAVID New York has added two creative directors, Pedro Sattin and Sébastien Rouvière. Both come over from the agency’s Madrid office.
Sattin and Rouvière will be in charge of supervising the creative output of the New York office and growing the agency’s creative reputation in the U.S. The creatives have produced work for clients including Burger King, Twitter, Netflix, Dove, Old Spice, Diesel and Heineken. Sattin and Rouvière have been awarded some 300-plus times at festivals like Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, One Show, ANDY, and more, winning golds and Grand Prix honors at numerous award shows. The duo will report to André Toledo, chief creative officer at DAVID New York.
“Throughout their career, Pedro and Sébastien have proven their ability to produce creative campaigns that resonate culturally for all types of brands. Their specific creative perspective and knowledge of the agency’s culture and positioning will be of benefit as we work to grow our presence in New York,” said Toledo.
The two creative directors will join another New York hire from the Madrid office: account supervisor Irene Leon. She was one of the first hires in Madrid’s account department and worked closely with Sattin and Rouvière to build DAVID Madrid into one of the most awarded agencies in Spain. During her years in Madrid, she worked for Mondelez Europe (Halls and Milka), Activision U.S., and Burger King Spain, Portugal, and global. Eager to flex her muscles in a larger market, Leon will continue to help clients achieve their business results and help to build a new team–this time, in New York. Leon reports to Luiza Prata Carvalho, managing director at DAVID New York.
Sattin, Rouvière and Leon joined the Madrid office when it first opened in 2019 and with their help, the agency won local, regional and global clients, grew from 10 to 60 employees despite the global pandemic. Sattin, Rouvière and Leon were behind some of the agency’s most acclaimed work, including two Super Bowl campaigns.
DAVID’s New York office opened in 2022 and is already working with clients such as CLIF Bar & Company (the Mondelez brand recently chose the agency as its AOR), Burger King, Activision and The Coca-Cola Company.
