THE SPOTS
Three :30s target bosses as the victims of pranks, to spotlight the tag line, "If you’re not offering your employees Independence Blue Cross, maybe you should." In "Kick Me," a boss heads out to lunch with a "kick me" sign taped to his back. The unsuspecting man gets kicked by several people on the way, including a messenger, a fellow businessman and a couple of women. "Watches" shows a CEO in a theater-like setting, giving a thank-you speech to his staffers for their hard work. The employees begin to blind the man by reflecting the light from their wristwatches onto his face. And in "Shoelaces," a company president receives an update from his staffers, who are gathered around a conference table. One employee crawls underneath the table and ties the boss’s shoelaces together, which eventually causes him to fall as he is exiting.
