Becca Sita joins as studio manager in Chicago office
Comma Music has hired Mina Louy as integrated producer. She will work in Comma’s Los Angeles facility. In addition to her producing duties, Louy will explore music production beyond the :30 spot and into other applications, including branded content and online entertainment. Louy will also assist in the West Coast expansion of Particle, Comma’s seven-year-old independent post audio and sound design studio.
A Los Angeles native, Louy spent eight years living in New York, from 2005-2013, where she served in sales and marketing capacities at such music and audio production studios as Butter and Duotone, and production company/record label Decon. Her last gig prior to joining Comma was at Decon where she worked on the record label side handling music licensing. Her experience also includes producing music-driven campaigns for such brands as Samsung, Visa, 2K Sports, ChapStick, Hershey’s, Mercedes-Benz, and Absolut.
“Mina brings a depth of experience in music and audio production,” said Larry Pecorella, creative director/co-founder of Comma. “With the ever increasing options in the music and audio world, we feel she’s the perfect fit on the West Coast to help smooth out the process for not only our clients but for us as well.”
Additionally, in its Chicago office, Comma has added Becca Sita as studio manager; she will oversee and handle operational duties for Comma and Particle. Sita has worked at production and editorial houses in Chicago and Los Angeles, including Hootenanny Creative Editorial, Arcade Editorial, Tris3ct, and ONE at Optimus.
