Award-winning songwriter/composer/producer/artist Giorgio Moroder visited music agency Comma’s Chicago studio on Friday, July 18, for a lunch time Q&A. Michael Paoletta, Comma executive producer, A&R/music supervision, conducted the interview for an audience of invited ad agency creatives and producers.
Moroder discussed his more than four decades of making music, from Donna Summer to Daft Punk, from Google to Adult Swim, from his recent Super Bowl Volkswagen spot to his new career as an international DJ. Six hours later, donning his DJ hat, Moroder was on the main stage of the Pitchfork Music Festival, treating the masses to a playlist that included remixes of his hits.
