Director Rob Pritts has come aboard the roster of Lucky 21, the production company with offices in Culver City, Calif., and Dallas. Pritts is known for bringing out the comedic foibles of the human condition. At Lucky 21 he joins a directing roster that includes Jeff Bednarz, Tom Ryan and The Chartrands.
Based in L.A., Pritts has forged a career rooted in presenting familiar situations in uncommon ways for a truly comedic effect. His body of work spans such brands as LG, Charter, AT&T, SEGA, Twix, Snickers, Altoids, Minute Maid, M&M’s, AXE, American Express, ESPN, Dr. Pepper and Molson.
Pritts had an affinity for comedy at a young age. Coming from a large Chicago family and lacking athletic prowess, his improvised defense mechanism of humor led him to acting, film school and ultimately to directing. His very first spot, “Bob In a Box,” won a Gold Clio, and he went on to win the trust of celebrity and athletic talents, including Jerry Seinfeld and Denis Leary, William Shatner, Kobe Byrant, Jeff Gordon and John Elway.
Pritts comes over to Lucky 21 from Backyard. John Gilliland is Lucky 21’s exec producer.
