RadicalMedia has signed director Paul Briganti for representation spanning commercials and branded content.
Known for his quick-witted digital shorts on Saturday Night Live, Briganti spent five years directing a lineup of A-list talent in weekly skits that ranged from cheeky to absurdist. He has also directed recent commercials for Citi, Hanes, Wendy’s, Burger King and Hotels.com. Briganti had earlier been repped in the advertising arena by production company Tool.
As a director and writer, Briganti has developed an impressive portfolio of viral clips since beginning his career as a staff director at CollegeHumor. In the decade since, he has created content for The Late Late Show with James Corden, Funny Or Die, and The Onion. His credits also include popular TV comedies such as Adam Ruins Everything (truTV), Imaginary Friend (NBC), and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW).
He recently directed fellow SNL alum Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy in their eponymous comedy Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. Following the premiere of the Judd Apatow-produced film, Briganti was profiled in The New Yorker.
“I’m thrilled to be working with the kind geniuses over at RadicalMedia,” said Briganti “Their body of work and love of comedy drew me to them, along with Frank Scherma’s beautiful eyes.”
RadicalMedia president and co-founder Scherma added, “I love to laugh and every spot and sketch he directed had me laughing out loud. I knew he would be terrific to work with and he would keep all of us in stitches.”
As an integral part of RadicalMedia’s commercial and branded content roster, Briganti will bring his unique comedic voice to everything he works on, which already includes his starting production on an Amazon project.
